How many novels do you know without any romance elements? So they may be less or more important, but they're there. And now I go on on a rant about how romance is worthy and doesn't need any ulterior motive to be so. (I just hate when people say things like 'Oh, it's a love story... BUT IT HAS A MESSAGE!', as it being a love story isn't good enough.)
