remixing

I've signed up for the Remix Redux, something I've always wanted to do! I find the concept fascinating in a meta way. I think I was already eligible last year (if barely), but I had too much things to do at that time of the year. I'm excited! I hope I'll get something fun to remix, so many possibilities ♥

if you're already qualifying for one fandom, i'm not sure it counts much to make others. Well maybe for the algorithm which decides the pairs, but people may decide to write about any fics even out of qualifying fandoms.

I was thinking for pairing purposes. I don't really want to write in any of those fandoms particularly anymore.

So I am going to try and write a few pieces this week and if not i will just sign up as is I think.

I don't think they make you write fics for the fandom you qualify for, necessarly. You get to pick IIRC.

But they are going to assign you to someone based on them, right? Who might have other stuff you want to write and might not.

they assign someone to you based upon what you want to write (you pick fandoms you're willing to choose)

they assign you to someone based upon you qualifying fandoms though, but they still may pick any fics among yours.

That works. Also I realize I also qualify for Firefly... which would mean I'd likely get assigned someone who is into the other Joss verses anyway.
