the azula one is a new one, and the horse's my current default icon so yeah :)

Honour is a reference to the Ember Island players episode. It's jut the number of meta jokes about Zuko's obession for honour, culminating with his play-self dying while crying "HONOOOOR!" as in the icon. I think it's hilarious ^^

1. ma préférée : je suis plus sensible aux textes qu'aux images, aussi j'aurais tendance à choisir "I laugh at gravity all the time". Même si la fangirl en moi essaie de me distraire en me faisant remarquer "kyaaaa, Seishirô/Subaru !"
2. Celle que j'aime le moins : Je ne vois pas, vraiment... peut-être "singing in the rain", mais par défaut.

hihi, j'ai uploadé plusieurs icons Slayers au moment du début de Slayers Revolution. J'adore la série (et Xelloss!!) mais je suis pas très fanish à son sujet.

"to betray / you must first love" vient de la série Battlestar Galactica, les personnages sont Gaius Baltar et Gaeta, ils ont une relation très intéressante avec un gros subtext de one sided crush de la part de Gaeta.

Mon icon par défaut doit répondre à ces critères :
1/ visuellement jolie, car on la voie beaucoup
2/ neutre, souvent sans texte, parce qu'on sait jamais à quels types de comment ou de post elle va s'appliquer à un moment ou à une autre.
3/ qui s'applique au thème de mon lj du moment. Pour une fois ça joue plus sur le coté symbolique (des chevaux pour les paroles de la chanson de Tori Amos "horses") que visuel. Et puis j'adore les chevaux, donc ça me correspond aussi.

1. Toph. Future generations will use 'Toph' as the short version of 'awesome'.
2. The incest one. Very funny when I first heard the phrase 15-odd years ago, less so now. Although being an ASoIaF fan means being exposed to it far more than other people :-)
3. Yeah, the geeks are sexy one. One of those that makes you immediately know who it is who's posted.
4. Why yes I am made of awesome. Amusing.
5. Well, it was "HONOOOOOOR!" one but now it's the creepy anthy one. Huh?

the creepy anthy icon is from Revolutionary Girl Utena. It makes much more sense when you know the context of the series. Basically Anthy is your average, if quite oddball at times, Damsel in Distress although she's a very... submissive one, never complaining as she's used as the trophy of a weird game between the students of the student council, and calling the people who won her "Master". But as the series go on you realise there's more to Anthy than that. She can be very manipulative and even creepy in a way. There's a point when another character tells her she finds her scary and Anthy just smiles sweetly and says thank you. That's one of my favourite moment for the character. And Anthy's my favourite character of that show.
The picture in the icon is from another such creepy moment. The use of the Svary Shiny Glasses trope (see TV tropes for more information) informs her creepiness quite efficiently.
