Two memes

Comment, and I'll:
1. Tell you why I friended you.
2. Associate you with something - fandom, a song, a color, a photo, a word etc.
3. Tell you something I like about you.
4. Tell you a memory I have of you.
5. Ask something I've always wanted to know about you.
6. Tell you my favorite user pic of yours.
7. In return, you must post this in your LJ. -- only if you want to. But I do think it's a fun meme.

1. I kept seeing you over at [livejournal.com profile] mithrigil and you seemed to be awesome. Also had some good fics - though I don't remember if I saw them before or after I friended you.
2. Saionji/Touga and Utena in general, Yami no Matsuei, masochist!Suzaku, cosplay, Hetalia!France
3. ... hmmm that's hard to articulate, but you are very accessible? Friendly and fun to talk to about most subjects even when I disagree with you.
4. The two-parter Hetalia fic you wrote with mithrigil which was the first Hetala fic I read.
5. What's the hardest thing about writing?
6. - I'm not sure what it is for, but it's gorgeous. (The one you got up there is also great!)

Ha, I am glad I am accessible even when I am being dorky academic! Or just a dork in general, really.

For me, the hardest part is my tendency not to see the forest for the trees -- basically, I get hung up on little details and spend hours and hours researching tiny details in my story and worrying about getting them wrong and try to cram as many Cool Tidbits into the story as I can, and I tend to lose sight of things like the larger plot I'm trying to construct because of all the nitpicking I do. I think this is why I'm better at short-form fiction, because there are only so many details I can wallow in.

That icon is fanart of Russia/China. It is very very pretty fanart.
