Personally I have some issue with the expression (it's milder than "it offends" me, but I think it's still problematic?) because it trivialises the term "nazi", especially since it's usually used with a sort of quixotic pride "haha! I'm such a canon nazi!" But yeah, I understand for a lot of people it's just a commonly used word, but it makes me wince when I see it anyway.
