Shipping poll

[Poll #1266990]

Also, what exactly would you put behind "unhealthy"? Is there some kinds of unhealthy which you are willing to ship and others which you draw the lines at (which ones, and why)? Don't hesitate to give some examples!

ETA: this is mostly due to the fact that some of the comments on this post by [livejournal.com profile] meganbmoore made me wonder if I was the only one.

Also, after reading other comments: what I was trying to say in the second paragraph is what [livejournal.com profile] hamsterwoman said about power imbalance. I've always been squicked by Clow/Yue, for example, even though it's not screwed up in the sense that Seishirou/Subaru is.

On the topic of power imbalance, I find that my solution to this is to have the smaller, younger, frailer, or otherwise weaker-appearing character top (emotionally, usually) and the stronger, darker, more dangerous character seem almost reluctant, or in some way taking the lead of the other character.

So, would Yue/Clow be any different to you?

Hmmm. I guess there are cases when switching them around might help, but with Clow and Yue... it's still the same for me, really. It's the whole creator/creation thing that squicks me, especially because it's canon that Clow pretty much has complete power of Yue (and the rest of his creations, of course). So even if it was a Yue/Clow dynamic, there's always the lingering thought that it could very easily turn ugly.

But I do realize that this is a very, very specific example, of course. :)
