The Mindgamer
Everything is possible, nothing is ever really over.
Fanfiction is a creative outlet for you. You don't intentionally write it, it just happens. You find inspiration in several fandoms, but are not obsessed with only one.
You like to explore "what if" situations. What if this character had never made this very choice? What if this event had taken place sooner, never, elsewhere? What if these people had never met?
You are likely to write Alternative Universes, fan seasons or sequels and just follow your (sometimes pretty strange) plot bunnies.

I probably would tell them I'd avoid the expression in the future, and express regret for any pain caused. But I don't think I'd remove the expression from the original post, except maybe if the person explicitly asked for that. I might post an ETA right after the expression, saying "So-and-so said this was offensive and I think that has some merit; I will re-think my use of the expression."
The bottom line is that I don't think it usually adds anything to the discussion to use the "Nazi" expression. And I don't think it can hurt us or stifle discussion if we're careful and sparse in our use of such terms. So if someone asks me not to use it, I'll probably honor that.
I do use "feminazi" ironically to refer to myself sometimes, though. It's my way of mocking and deflating that hugely hyperbolic insult. Does that offend you?
