The Delicious change has finally caught up with me!! And holy shit is it ugly and impractical indeed! o_o

Though, really I'm still utterly amazed I had this weird 10 days respite somehow. XD

Welcome to the big old mess. They keep saying they're implementing change, but it's still awful to deal with. I went to Pinboard.

So far we're getting along okay. It's quite good - the website has all the functionality of Delicious except for tag bundles, as far as I can see. I am glad to have access to a network again, because that's how I find most of my links. I do miss the add-ons that I used for Delicious - there are some for Pinboard, but they're not as nifty as the old Delicious ones were. I think it's just a matter of making sure that I have the Pinboard add-on installed on every computer I use, which is taking a bit of time to catch up on.

There's pinboard, though, which has lots of techy hints and tips.

It's funny, I never actually used network on delicious; I don't even know how people used it to find stuff.

adds on are nifty, it's good they might come soon.

Too bad about the bundles; that was one of my favourite part XD (sometimes I can get weirdly neurotic about organising stuff). And, well, too bad it's a paying thing.

btw, I think the fact I'd still had access to most of the delicious functionality from what I assume must be a some kind of bug means that all of those functionalities & data are still up there; we just don't have access to them anymore under the new layout. Which would mean that if delicious wanted it could bring it all back.

They are in theory bringing most of it back. At least they promised on their blog. They're jsut taking their sweet ole time on it haha.

(I'm not actually that upset about compagnies not being able to react to reactions on the internet in the hour - or the days - we kind of forget with how quick things are online that stuff can't always been set up that swiftly, work-wise.)
