Harry Potter was pretty good.
Better than the first ones, but then, that's a given since the story was better in the first place. Apart from Harry and Lupin's little treks in the wilderness where I kept expecting Yoda Lupin to teach Harry how to do the five palm exploding heart technique, everything was pretty good. Other comments :
1/ Harry obviously doesn't read near enough Pratchet.
2/ I want my own hippogryphe at home. And my own monster book of monsters now that I think of it. Too cute.
3/ Humm, Hermione's getting cute...
4/ Gyyaaa ! Vincent thinks Draco is cute ?? WTF ?
5/ Oh yeah... the subtexts was right there...
Anyway, Isabelle also lent me the Dukalyon and Clover so I can complete my reading of Clamp. Dukalyon was a laugh riot. Wait a minute... they're watching the X movie ? And Nokoru's still a kid ? My mind ! My mind ! Can't stand the temporal wreckdown. Oh wait, are those girls supposed to be Torhu and Saya ?
Gonna read Clover tonight, can't wait ^_^
Went to do some shopping in St Michel so I could check on Aspect Book Earth. Was surprised to find out Dark Age : Fae was there. As soon as I was home I went on ICQ to brag out at Aurel I had it (He's my changeling ST and totally fae obsessed), and added it was still opened he could get there before the closure. About twenty minutes after that, the phone rings, and an out of breath Aurel tells me proudly he got his DA : Fae book ^_^ I was on the floor laughing.
I also found Illyon for Father's Day, and had the good surprise to find out Kushner's Thomas the Rhymer has been reedited ! For those of you who do not know (and I do mean especially you fellow yaoi fangirls), Kushner has written a couple of amazing books, Swordspoint and Fall of the King with the most adorable, gorgeous, twisted, passionate homosexual couple out there. The one in Swordspoint is among my favourite couple in fiction, at all (In case you wonder, the others are Jenny and John from Dragonbane by Barbra Hambly and Jehane, Ammar and Rodrigo in Guy Gavriel Kay's Lions of Al-Rassan)
