This is being a very busy week and i don't think it's going to change soon so, instead of trying to find again all those entries I meant to answer, I'm gonna do some ...

[livejournal.com profile] chaineddove whee ! pictures ! *grapple them* wonderful. Loved the new Shouting Stars chapter. Ryuichi was lovely in it as ever. And Tohma was... well getting insane, poor dear. Loved Mika and Noriko bonding, that was fun. Thanks for the Utena fic link as well... I hope i'll have the time to read it soon, it looks lovely <3

[livejournal.com profile] catwoman7018 fancy seeing you there ^_^ how are you doing ? whee, pics as well ! I hope you work hard on that Kaleido Stars fanfic !

[livejournal.com profile] crazylittleme YOU ROCK ! Or your taste in music does it's nearly the same isn't it ? ^^ Thank you so much for all those songs you had uploaded I'm have a great time listening to them

[livejournal.com profile] flowright as always, every links and things you upload sont fantastiques ! Much love to you for that

[livejournal.com profile] meggu random huggage just because. It's always a joy for me to read your entries <3

[livejournal.com profile] sakuraragi go and mess up this guy's mind a little bit more, that's what men are there for anyway, providing amusement to women ^_^

Anyway all is good for me. I'm just very busy with school and work and trying to face my responsabilities for once.

My little cousin Yael from Israel has just arrived to our house. She's going to stay with us for three monthes until she gathers enough money for a trip to Australia. I'm very glad of that, she's a very sweet girl I had missed a great deal since her family did their alyah.

Book wise, finished reading the Charnel Prince by Greg Keyes yesterday. Great book. It's good solid fantasy. Nothing too original, but it's well written, the characters are endearing (even the rebellious princesses and those usually annoy me extremely) and this second volumes gain in ambiguity and nuances in the plot. And there's some genuine original good ideas, like the whole process of gaining powers fromt the "saints" by walking a pilgrim through special places.

Yesterday my friend Isabelle was insisting for us (as in her, friends of her, and I) to do a cosplay of Kyou Kara Maou to some future french con. I told her I had to watch the anime before (she lent me the first episodes but no time to watch anything right now) but that FMA would be better ^_^

I sort of liked Briar King, very readable, did not dazzle me but then again that is rare. I suppose you thought the Charnel prince better? I will check it eventually ( got tons sitting unread). Now back to being ill and sorry for myself.

Yeah I have the same opinion of Briar King and did indeed find Charnel Prince to be better. Not by a whole lot, but it's decently written and enjoyable, and, as I said, I do enjoy reading about most of the characters ^^

*hugs* get better dear

The excuse to indulge in selfpity and hypocondrically spam the world wide web almost makes up for it. Though I am ever evil overlord those damned influenza virii are getting EXTINCT.

Noted down about TCP - and picky as I am about fantasy novels, they are still an old love. Finding ones which do not have high pretensions but are *good*, say like Flewelling, makes me pretty happy even if they do not hook me enough to became current infatuation.

lol right because you take such a pleasure to whining :p

Now that's one specie I'm sure no one will try to protect from extinction.

*nods* I do love dearly Flewelling for that. Especially since she seems such a promising writer to me. She keeps improving with each book.

Hey! I miss you. :O Don't ask, I guess my current stress is just making me miss people lately. @_@

Anyway, I have good news. I might get to go to France.

Ah well, once I've finished writing this paper on To Kill a Mockingbird, I can finally take a deep breath and relax. ><;

Um.. next March. *grins* I'll have to get a job this summer and save to pay for it myself, but it's a trip of fifteen days to France that my school does every other year. I'm pretty much dead-set on working as hard as I can to raise the money at this point, so we will definitely see what happens. Besides, there's a fast-food joint near my house that pays really well.

[identity profile] catiechu.livejournal.com 2005-03-05 12:12 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, it's an excellent book. Or, at least, I thought so.

Yes, I'm really excited. @.@ Even if I have to bust my ass all summer, it would be worth it. I'd love to get to get out of the country, and get to hang out with you. @__@

You know, it continues to be Shooting, not Shouting. Although Shouting really isn't too far off considering some of the things in there lately...

I told her I had to watch the anime before (she lent me the first episodes but no time to watch anything right now)

Lucky you.... I didn't even get to see a single ep, nor having one lent to me! Damn, I know I shouldn't have accepted that quickly..... ::eg::
