Anyway all is good for me. I'm just very busy with school and work and trying to face my responsabilities for once.

My little cousin Yael from Israel has just arrived to our house. She's going to stay with us for three monthes until she gathers enough money for a trip to Australia. I'm very glad of that, she's a very sweet girl I had missed a great deal since her family did their alyah.

Book wise, finished reading the Charnel Prince by Greg Keyes yesterday. Great book. It's good solid fantasy. Nothing too original, but it's well written, the characters are endearing (even the rebellious princesses and those usually annoy me extremely) and this second volumes gain in ambiguity and nuances in the plot. And there's some genuine original good ideas, like the whole process of gaining powers fromt the "saints" by walking a pilgrim through special places.

Yesterday my friend Isabelle was insisting for us (as in her, friends of her, and I) to do a cosplay of Kyou Kara Maou to some future french con. I told her I had to watch the anime before (she lent me the first episodes but no time to watch anything right now) but that FMA would be better ^_^

I sort of liked Briar King, very readable, did not dazzle me but then again that is rare. I suppose you thought the Charnel prince better? I will check it eventually ( got tons sitting unread). Now back to being ill and sorry for myself.

Yeah I have the same opinion of Briar King and did indeed find Charnel Prince to be better. Not by a whole lot, but it's decently written and enjoyable, and, as I said, I do enjoy reading about most of the characters ^^

*hugs* get better dear

The excuse to indulge in selfpity and hypocondrically spam the world wide web almost makes up for it. Though I am ever evil overlord those damned influenza virii are getting EXTINCT.

Noted down about TCP - and picky as I am about fantasy novels, they are still an old love. Finding ones which do not have high pretensions but are *good*, say like Flewelling, makes me pretty happy even if they do not hook me enough to became current infatuation.

lol right because you take such a pleasure to whining :p

Now that's one specie I'm sure no one will try to protect from extinction.

*nods* I do love dearly Flewelling for that. Especially since she seems such a promising writer to me. She keeps improving with each book.
