games, games, work
26 Jun 2004 05:03 pmWell, LJ is working again, AT LAST, but now I have so many things to update with and no time to do it ^_^
Anyway, Wednesday evening, I had a dinner with people from good old mailist Agone. Agone was that roleplaying game I used to write about a few years ago. Yes it does have an english translation, but it didn't go very far (none of my texts are) Sadly now the publisher doesn't exist anymore (no cause of not selling enough games, they actually banquerouted because they invested into video games, talk about irony), so some of those texts probably won't ever be published. Anyway, some fans got together to do a fanzine, and the first issue's out, that's what the dinner was about. And it really look good, the fanzine is as pretty as the original books were.
Meeting those people again was nice, it had been so long since I had seen them ^_^ Some people were new to me, and one of them, Fabrice, I'm sure I met somewhere else before, but neither of us could remember where. He proposed me to play with their group of players, which I accepted. It'd be nice to play Agone again, it was a cool game.
This evening, I'm spending the night at Tenebrae, an organisation focused on World of Darkness games which organizes gaming night every couple of night or so. I signed for a Demon game, might get me to at last test that game. I did love the concept of how they did this game, so I'm very curious about how it will go. I'm even missing out of a Dark Age : Fae game a friend of mine will master at the same night, but i will probably play Fae with him another time, so... ^_^
My sister was home today for Father's Day (we're never very synchronized with official days) and we ate a barbeque. I asked her to help me for job searching and we spent about a hour writing together a letter of motivation for one post. I feel determined again, I hope i'll find a job for this summer.
