Most people have a One True Pairing, but lots of people have said that, instead, they a One True Character. Regardless, it's that one thing inside the canon story that makes us tick, hold and not let go, to the point that we go online to analyze them to death, seek more stories about them, and write our own stories.

But reading

starysummer post about cross fandom character preferences, I was struck when she mentionned a few families, and had to mention my own favourite in the answer.

Because sometimes, fandom is all about the family relationships that make us tick.
