Silent War
I'd kept this one on the side, time to read it
Oooooh pretty art. And wow, in retrospect did the stuff it was setting up got dropped.
Secret Invasion : The Inhumans
Oooooh ugly art.
War of Kings
Okayyy... mostly this was pretty entertaining. Plot's kind of a mess though, didn't flow very naturally, and I have a feeling there was quite a few characters... kind of strong-armed into it in spite of characterisation, and it's a little bit on the side of bloated. Most of the stuff with the Guardians of the Galaxy was ridiculously awesome, start to finish, they were easily to most fun and exciting parts. The Nova parts weren't as dull as previously though painfully peripheral. I'm still trying to figure why we're supposed to care about Darkhawk (or why the authors thought what this story lacked was another white straight man in space - well, two, counting Jack Flag but he had the decency of being hilariously awesome at least). The X-Men stuff were pretty good too. The rest oscillated between dull to fun/amusing. Improvement in term of villains, but that isn't saying much given where we started though. At least they made the crazy fun.
