*yawns* I'm really starting to be very bad at updating my LJ.
Yesterday I was at a friend's birthday. It was very nice hearing news of hear when she invited me to it, as it's been a long time I hadn't seen her, and i really like her. She goes back to my Buffy fandom days, and she's really a sweet girl. I made a chocolate cake and went to the party. We weren't many people, but it was okay.
I must lend her Tokyo Babylon, as she's a fan of X TV ^_^

I'm still 99% to downloading totally Matantai Loki Ragnarock 17-20 *sighs* It's been three days !

On good news side, I finally got to borrow the Noir animes to someone ! Much happiness, it's been a long time I wanted to get them. Also got the Combination mangas from Isabelle. ^_^

I had that strange reaction of jealousy when finding out about newest X community creation x_100 : that "hey, WE're doing the fanfic challenges thing already !" O_o wow... loose it Ete, shineko's right in saying it's a very different kind of concept. No reason to get all competitive ! ^_^ It's funny, it's been so long I hadn't had that kind of strong rivalry reflexe. Makes me all nostalgic of my childhood days with my sister... if you see what I mean ;)
I'm usually not a very jealous person. Envious, yes, but seldom jealous. (jealous is more about possessivity, wanting to keep what's yours from anyone else's hands. Envy is about wanting and desiring what is others').

Oh... and posted a small snippet at togakushishrine for the previous switching sides challenge. And the lattest challenge we made with tamchronin has been very succesful already, yay ! (say 100 words only and everyone goes out of the woods ^_^)

This is sort of random, but it's funny to think that the biggest fan of Buffy I know is a strange little gay boy. >>; I love him to bits, but he is obsessed.

strange little gay boy sounds like fun... hehe, it's probably because he had lots of tastes (all those Spike without his shirt episodes might have helped too). I used to be very very obsessed with Buffy... used to write essays about it ! Then season 7 was crap and I got over it.

Already did ;) That jealous reflexe was coming from the darkest pit of my shadow, not something i'm proud of ! Lol, i'm sure they're awesome people.

Buffy rocks, I admit. Though, I loved the most recent season of Angel. Spike and Angel are entirely too funny in combination. Though, I have to say, what I always appreciated about the show was the writing.

Have you noticed how many comms get started up those days just for X ? It's almost scary !
I mean, I like all of them, and for exemple Suchan's tokyobabylon was really needed, but I do end up wondering wether it's not too much ^^

and the jealousy is because they already got more answers than we ever did on one challenge... >_>

I haven't watched the most recent Angel seasons I'm afraid. I probably will some day, but for complicated reasons entailing being too late in the catching back at downloading episodes, i haven't watched season 4 and 5 yet.
But I did always like Angel and Spike's interactions. Was a shipper back in those days where most of the Spike slash you could find on the net was with Xander O_o
Spike's monologue in Into the Dark is still one of the better piece of dialogue made into Buffy/Angel. "Now I'm just big fluffy puppy with bad teeth... no not the hair ! Never the hair !" "Quick to the angelmobile !"

And yeap, BtVS and AtS were made by the screenwriters (and then Whedon goes out of his way and made Hush), the comic lines, the ref, the metaphores, the blending of genre... though the fact some actors were very good and hot did help ^_^
Here's hoping Whedon gets to write X-Men 3 as the rumors hold.
