2 Oct 2004 04:37 pmI've got a cold and am terribly exhausted. Well I was yesterday, today I'm slightly less tired, but I'm supposed to be up all night for an roleplaying game (yay for Mage : the Ascension, even in modified form !) so i'm not sure how long that will last ^^
Not that I should complain, I'm good, no problem, just tired and sick ^^ but appologies to everyone i couldn't find the time to answer comments or posts yet. I just don't have the energy to do much.
Yesterday we went to see a Yomigaeri at my japanese school (it makes weekly movie projections. Free ones. Which rocks.) That was a very nice, very beautiful movie. Had dead people coming back to life, and how the people who used to grieve them react to it.
Otherwise i'm starting to have fun with photoshop 7. This program is powerful in a scary way !

Date: 2 October 2004 07:54 am (UTC)Mmm. Japanese movies are always so interesting. I'm particually fond of those old samurai ones, which are strangely amusing. =P
Photoshop! I use PaintShopPro 8 instead, but Photoshop, from what I've heard, is nice, too. Go make some beautiful icons, Ete! ^^

Yes, I love old samurai movies, though I haven't watched many of them. They've got a very strange quality. For real cheese of course, what you need is old kung fu movies ^^ (remember one with killer butterflies)
*giggles* I'm trying to. What's the difference between PSP and PS all around ?

Date: 4 October 2004 03:35 pm (UTC)X3 My allergies are feeling better already. ::hug::
KUNG FU MOVIES. <3 When my Dad was younger, he watched those all the time. I think I might go digging through some of the stuff in the attic later, looking for all of those old Kung Fu movies. XDDD
I don't have PS, although I hear it's a lot different from PSP, mainly the layout and stuff. ::thinks::

Date: 8 October 2004 02:37 am (UTC)awww, turning into a woman as a metaphore for growing up. I think I was very satisfyied with the ending, and its bittersweetness. Being still a unicorn but knowing what it is to be human and being changed by it.
But it's very vivid, how she formulates it... Defining being human, being mortal as being able to feel your body dying progressively. I guess that's why there's such an emphasis on the memory of Immortals.
You can add all my well-wishes of a swift recovery to them then ! I'll send positive thoughts your way <3
