Did anyone count all the Pat(e)s in this book ? Not counting the Faceless Man...
All right, I'll start with Brienne because that was the part I liked the more. Overall she was the character doing to most in this book. It was fun. I loved seeing Pod getting on with her, and the knight who followed her made for a nice touch too. I don't believe Brienne's dead, obviously.
Jaime, was much sourer that she was before, wasn't he ? Still fun to read about, but painful too.
I do wonder what the hell he's written in the book. He's being quite keen on reminding people to read it.
Davos *sobs*
I absolutly adored Littlefinger all through this book. God I'd have forgotten how the man was so clever. Despisable, but much too clever for me not to love ^^
I was quite happy to see Sansa prooving once and for all that she's not stupid. I was getting tired of having to tell people that.
I liked Arya's chapter for the setting exposition. Otherwise nothing much to note. I'm starting to think one day Arya will make a good Mistress of Spies.
Samwell was remarkadely nice to read about (I didn't like his chapters much in ASOS) I had never believed he'd got to Oldtown before and was surprised by that turn ^^ I loved most pecks of the Citadelle in general.
I didn't much like most of the Greyjoy chapters, but they did increase my likeness for Asha (who I didn't like before)
Cersei was a pest to read. I've never hated the patethic woman but now I believe I'll rejoyce when she'll die just because that means I won't have to read her chapter anymore GHAH I don't believe Tyrion will kill her, though, so that means either Jaimy-boy himself or a Tywin's bastard.
I liked Arianne a great deal, much more than I feared I would. I'm glad to see that the Dornishmen do not dispoint me on that subject, given how much I liked Oberyn ^^
I have no opinion on Sandor's death or non state of death. I went back and forth at least a dozen times in the book thinking either. I don't understand going through all this to have him be dead, but I don't exactly understand hammering his death so much either. I'm sure others will do great theories on the subject, I don't do good theories especially not while reading, I only do gut feelings.
