Bunnies never die
1 Jun 2006 11:53 amYou know how sometimes a plot bunny no matter how unpractical, ridiculous, and crackful just won't die (rabbid nasty bugger) ?
So because of that I'm letting you guys make the decision. I don't think anybody would be interested anyway...
The plot bunny is to write a fanfic where Revolutionnary Girl Utena crossovers Harry Potter, set in the Maraudeur Era (and thus before the event of the serie Utena) where Hogwarts plays the same role as Ohtori.
[Poll #739865]
For those who don't know and might be curious, Utena is a very weird and surrealist anime serie : think Buffy the Vampire Slayer directed by David Lynch as a japanese anime. It's set in a modern day school but with a certain number of oddities. The heroin, Utena, is a girl who was saved by a Prince as a little girl, and as a result decided to be herself a Prince when she grows up, and dresses up in a male uniform because of that. She finds herself dragged into an intricate and symbolical game where several students, the Duellist, fight fencing match to "win" a girl, Anthy, called the Rose Bride, and supposedly the "power to revolutionnize the world". The previously victor of a match and current "owner" of the Rose Bride fight those matches using a sword that Anthy gets out of her own body. They are directed to do so by mysterious letters coming signed by "The End of the World".
