Oh my God, how did I miss that there were a European convention of Science Fiction in Coppenhagen the 21-23 September? O_O *glee*

You know, I really better start planning conventions going for this summer right now (because tickets after next Monday will be much, much less cheap)... do any of you guys have any advices?
Do any of you plan on going anywhere this year?
I'm not sure I'd be able to go to the US (and Japan is rather difficult too) but if I plan far ahead enough (which is not something I usually do) I still might try it. And I'd love to meet any of you guys!

European cons is definitly more affordable as well, and looks like there are at least I'd love to go to this summer.

there's a Spanish one in 2008? Cool! Well, I could go to both.

Looks like several people from Ran's board are planning to go to the Coppenhagen Eurocon, at least. And I know someone who lives in Coppenhagen I'd really like to meet, so that's a compelling reason to go.
I'd love to meet you again as well! We eurocommies need to organize ourselves better to take adventage of the small size of Europe, damnit.

Ooooh, so many HP cons! I was thinking of going to Sectus (which has the advantage of being in Europe) but that one looks tempting as well *sighs* so many choices, so little time money...

I'd no idea you were such a big HP fan :p

No kind of Anime cons for you this year?

Neither did I. :-P

I didn't even go to Youmacon this year, which was a local con--and I know the con chair. He stays over at my place about once a month! It didn't help that my roommates were in Virginia at another con, and my daughter passed on going, but I was so tired out that I decided to stay home and relax instead.

I'll probably go to Youmacon next year. With enough advance notice, I might run an Utena panel.

There was a SF con in Copenhagen? O.o

Why wasn't I notified?!

Okay, so I was a bit out of my network at the time preparing for going to Japan, and being all-around sick with stress.

Also missed the anime con, the Japan con, and the two only RPG cons I have any intrest in going to...

I am becoming a boring old muggle...
