I got nominated at plenty of thing at the westerosorting superlative awards, which made me happy, including for plenty of things that make no sense like the Most Likely to have Many Bastard award or the Most Likely to Lose a Body Part in the Future award or the Most Likely to be An assassin Award; and including stuff that made me blush like the Fanfic award or the best discussion award or the Hilarity award.

Sadly I'm not leading any of those polls, not even Honorary Targaryen. I'd be happy to get any award really, even those that make no sense like Honorary Lannister. Well I'm tied for the Most Likely to be an Assassin award, for whatever reason XD (shouldn't tell them how much I tend to be bored by assassin characters, I guess >_>;)

Anyway, awards on which I have a strong opinion:
- pojypojy for Fanart. They are a lot of awesome fanartists in the comm, but in term of both quality and quantity, pojypojy really deserves this one.
- cloud_wolf for Graphics. In the comm, there are some iconmakers who make very pretty icons, and there are some who make very funny/interesting icons; but cloud_wolf is the only one who does both at the same time.
- misstopia for Fiercest Defenser of Canon. She's the one that argues the best and the most coherently about aspects of canon IMHO.
- haremstress for Leadership. I really get a sense of unity and fun out of Tully house I think in great part because of her.
- renegadecat for Kraken. Because she's adorable and cracks me up XD
- hamsterwoman for Rose. I think she really embodies the personnality of the house, the flowery exterior, the ability to be sneakily vicious when necessary, the good humour and the sociability.
- guad for Dragon. When I think fiery Targ I think of her.
- cloud_wolf for Honorary Stark. Mayyyyybe it's just the name, but I keep thinking of her as a Stark.
- deeplyunhip for Honorary Greyjoy. She's aggressive and funloving. Would totally be at ease as a pirate.
- misstopia for Honorary Tyrell. I kinda think she belongs in that house.
- etrangere for Honorary Targaryen. I was almost sorted there for a reason :p
- deeplyunhip for Most Welcoming Member. Okay, maybe it's just me...
- haremstress for Chatmistress deserves that one although I wouldn't mind getting it XD
- haremstress for Good of the Realm. Because she bribed me to say so :)
- deeplyunhip for Cockiness. I adore renegadecat but cocky she is not. Kim's possibly even cockier than Jaime Lannister.
- haremstress for Conflict Resolution. I've seen her at work. She knows tact and diplomacy, I'm admirative.
- jesatria for Fangirl. I don't think anyone on the board is a biggest fangirl than her when it comes to Oberyn. NO NOT EVEN queenofthorn about Jaime. She's that passionate.

I'm now voting for you for Honorary Targ. And, what the hell, assassin. You may not like assassin characters, but I bet you'd be a good one. You identify with Miles, and Mark is Miles's clone, and Mark is an assassin. Therefore, you would make a good assassin. QED. (And I have always been voting you for Chatmistress, 'cos I don't hang out over on the IRC thing, and thus don't know that side of it, but you totally deserve that title for the AIM side! :D)

My thing with assassins has to do with the fact some assassins in various works/RPGs tend to be seen as kewl and badass for no other reasons, while I see most of them as psychopathic and boring. (and you kill people for a living? How interesting. What else?). Obviously there are a few assassins who have better characterisation than that :) (Arya certainly does. Jaqen doesn't).

I see! Yeah, assassins as an archetype don't appeal to me (mercenaries, on the other hand, do :P) if they don't have anything more interesting to recommend them.

I'd be happy with whatever I can get, really, which at the moment seems to be Honorary Blackfish Tully. It's surprising, flattering, and distracting to be one vote away from co-lead on the Best Discussion award, but I do think trivalent really deserves that one (which may not be enough to stop me from voting for myself there anyway, 'cos, Tyrell, you know...) But I certainly wouldn't want anyone else to vote anything but their conscience on a "best" category. :)

That's very true! Sahar manages to combine actual talent and humor while most of us can only handle one or the other. I've still got to stand by my vote for Jewel, though - she makes beautiful icons and the community would look like crap without her and her gorgeous banners, really.

As for what you said about me, I'm glad you can manage to find me welcoming and horrendously cocky at the same time. Not mutually exclusive qualities! :)

And I am cool with Honorary Greyjoy. Though there's some reasonable competition on that one - I mean, scytheandroses is pretty pirate-y herself...
