A sweet New Year to you, too!

(P.S. Any recommendations re: Israel? I'm headed there next month (Tel Aviv, Eilat, Jerusalem, Haifa)...)

A good and a sweet year to you! I thought of you when we were talking about symbolic foods, "we had a head of cauliflower!"

Thank you ♥

I didn't really see enough to make a lot good recommendation! :) There's a restaurant in Tel Aviv called Nana which is delicious and gorgeous, and while you're in Tel Aviv, do visit Yaffa, it's one of the only beautiful place there. In Jerusalem, the Old City of course (there'sa a free tours organised by www.neweuropestours.eu which I really liked doing), and if you don't mind something very depressing the Shoah museum of Yad Vashem.

Because when I was writing that thing about people eating heads of fish and sheep, you said your family ate a head of garlic.

This guy at our dinner bought a bunch of random food at the grocery store and made up lucky puns about it. It was excellent.

The wedding I'm attending is in Yaffa (Ilana Goor museum), so we'll definitely be spending some time there. Thanks for the pointer to Nana and the tour! *adds to notes* (Shoah museum noted as well, but less probable. If the weather's nice, I'll likely choose meandering around outdoors over visiting museums, for the most part.)
