1. I like how it reinterprets mythology and ancient History, it's an interesting re-envisionning of Europe (though it got a bit offensive outside of Europe)

2. Prominent femslash antagonistic pairing FTW! I love the potential of Melisandre/Phèdre as a pairing.

3. I love how sex-positive it is. I love the BDSM in it not so much because of the porn (which is average at best and way to flowery for my taste XD) but because of how it portrays it positively, likewise for sex workers.

hahaha, then you'll have to hear me repeat myself.

1. In a series full of male sexual predators, she's the only girl that plays that game on her own term. Sure, she does it for wrong, rather creepy reasons, but I love the shameless way she seduces and dumps guy (and girls) as her fancy strikes.

2. She's got this aura of unpredictability which is very fun. Like when she decides to try to seduce Anthy on her own in the middle of the duel? I loved that :D

3. She's reveals this sweet side which is adorable when she rescues the little birds ♥

1. I love the depth and the complexity of her character. At first we think she's just some kind of damsel in distress, but little by little we understand she's so much more than that. She's layers upon layers which we only glimmer at progressively. That's she complicit to her own victimhood (and that of others), that she's so bitter and passive agressive, and at the same time that she deserves so little of what she suffers and that she had acted to save her brother. I like that she's so cynical and has so little expectations too.I love that she's the witch.

2. I love her sense of humour!! She's kind of weird about it and sometimes you can see her looking at things and laugh, and you know the absurdity of stuff that happen to Nanami is caused by her; and those are pretty wacky stuff.

3. I adore when she's being all creepy and threatening, like when Nanami tells her she (and her brother) are freaks and she says "Doumo!" with this big, blank smile; or during Juri's first duel, at some point you see her playing a kind of rabbit nursery song with her hands and it's massively creepy XD

1. His story, the amount to which he grows and evolves over the course of 3 seasons, realises how wrong he was and tries to make amends in his own way. I love how hard it is, how many missteps he takes along the way. It made it so rewarding and more real when he finally turned.

2. That he's such a dork! He's so adorably clueless and awkward at times! "Hello, Zuko there!" ♥

3. How DRAMATIC everything has to be with him. The boy should be an actor. I absolutely love the whole confrontation with Ozai in day of the Black Sun, it's so awesome yet at the same time so ridiculously, needlessly over the top dramatic XD "to make an era of peace and kindness" awwww

1. The deconstruction of fairy tale / romantic ideals and how clever it is.

2. The depth of the feminist themes as exampled by all the characters and how multi-layered they are.

1. The banter. They play off one another in a particularly hilarious way. I love By's sense of humour in general, and his teasing works with Ivan in a lovely way.

2. The opportunity to develop and give Ivan more depth XD

3. By's profession lending itself to all sorts of fun plot and schemes for Ivan to get himself meddled with, to his horror.

for Terra a

1. Disco SF! I love the whole atmosphere of capes and silly uniforms and headphones of power XD

2. The melodrama which is delicious. Over the top and very much based on the characters.

3. The music. Really sets up the atmosphere well.

for Keith/Matsuka

1. The fact that Matsuka reacts to Keith in the way he does because he's so amaze the first person to discover who he is doesn't kill him right away and makes use of him; despite all the awful way he treats him. I think that relief must have been so huge to Matsuka after hiding himself all his life and that's why he attaches himself to Keith as he does : Keith is the first one to accept him as a Mu. I find that dynamic fascinating in its dysfunctionality.

2. The way for Keith it's got so much to do with his past experience with Shiroe. He had to kill Shiroe, but he can lets Matsuka live and does.
Also the fact that both those things we can understand from the characters without the narrative having to spell it out for us.

3. The little times when Matsuka shows passive agressively some spine. They are very fun.

Ca y est, j'ai lu le tome 3, et je peux savoir ce que tu trouves offensif, spécifiquement ? Je m'étais attendu à pire, mais en même temps, je ne connais pas bien le sujet, et ça peut très bien être parce que j'ai tout raté.
