... Elijah Snow, is that the guy from Planetory? O_o I never even finished reading that cuz I never could get into it.
Err, Peter Pan, God. Err, I guess I can try to do the version from the Loisel comic book. Memory fuzzy though.

1) What is your opinion of this character? If you like, explain why you like him/her.
He's a compelling enough character. Goes through tough shit, becomes a little bit crazy, is iconic in an interesting way.

2) Is he/she important to the general plot?
Main character, natch.

3) Can you relate to this character at all? Does he/she grip you emotionally?
Yeah, he goes through enough painful things you can relate with him in the beginning. I think he's really well established emtionnally in the scene when he tells about how a mother is, full of positive thing, with the contrast with his real mother showing how he's lying his ass off.

4) How much do you like the fandom that this character comes from?
... there's a fandom?

5) Do you ship this character with any other character? Or, are you particularly intrigued by his/her relationship with any other character(s)? (romance-wise or platonic)
Not really now. Though I'm sure one could make a case of Peter/Pan. (If you don't know about the Loisel Peter Pan comics that must read weird :p)

6) Is there anything about the character you would change?
Nope.

7) If you were in the fandom with this character or knew this character in real life, how would you see yourself interacting with him/her?
... I don't think I can project myself that way; he's too far from my reality.

8) Does this character make the cut as one of your all time favorites (if you like) or least favorites?
Nope.

9) Would you hype up this character (if you like) or warn about this character (if you dislike) to someone new to fandom?
Yeah, I'd recommend most people to read that comics; and the characterisation of Peter is one of the big draw.

10) Is this character popular with the fanbase?
... I suppose so? ^^

1) What is your opinion of this character? If you like, explain why you like him/her.
I like her. She's badass and empathetic. She's totally the sort of teachers I liked best :)

2) Is he/she important to the general plot?
Not really, no. She has purely a role as good teacher of Harry through most of the story & faithful to Dumbledore and that's it. She doesn't have any storyline of her own, and doesn't drive the plot at all.

3) Can you relate to this character at all? Does he/she grip you emotionally?
Nope and nope. We don't know enough of McG's emotional life for her to grip us much. I saw some fanfics do a good job, in relationship with Tom especially, though, and she worked well in term of being relatable there.

4) How much do you like the fandom that this character comes from?
Harry Potter is the best fandom, Harry Potter is the worst fandom. It is shiny and diverse and wanky and kinky as hell. I love it.

5) Do you ship this character with any other character? Or, are you particularly intrigued by his/her relationship with any other character(s)? (romance-wise or platonic)
Tom/Minerva would be the closest thing to a ship I have for Minerva (in the sense of fucked up relationship that's interesting to see explored), as previously mentioned thanks to some fanfics. Can't remember of anyone else I wanted to ship her with.
Also love genfic exploration of her relationship with Snape; there's some snarky friendship potential there.

6) Is there anything about the character you would change?
Have her be more part of the plot, definitely.

7) If you were in the fandom with this character or knew this character in real life, how would you see yourself interacting with him/her?
I'd love her as a teacher when I was a student. Not much else I can think of.

8) Does this character make the cut as one of your all time favorites (if you like) or least favorites?
Nope.

9) Would you hype up this character (if you like) or warn about this character (if you dislike) to someone new to fandom?
Not really, she's too much of a side character (which is something of wasted potential as she's pretty cool).

10) Is this character popular with the fanbase?
I don't think many people dislike her; so she's generally well liked. But she's not popular enough to be much written about either.

1) What is your opinion of this character? If you like, explain why you like him/her.
I love her. She's a great, scary and effective villain, in that sweet Magnificent Bitch way. Unlike most female villains ever, she's not really sexualised (which is good since she's 14, but that doesn't always stop them). What really endeared me to her was when she was shown to be very socially dorky in The Beach though, with the way she's very good at intimidating people and that's how she default all her social interaction to, and how eventually that totally fails her when her best friends turn against her because love is stronger than fear (awww), and with that Azula's story takes a turn for the tragic in a way that is effectively poignant.

2) Is he/she important to the general plot?
She's really the main villain who has a face, unlike Ozai who is in the background for most of the story and isn't very interesting - so yeah. And she has her own story that isn't all about other characters too.

3) Can you relate to this character at all? Does he/she grip you emotionally?
I do find some of the character tragic flaws and social awkwardness emotionally gripping. And the point to which her perfectionism drive her to self-destruction. Wouldn't say I relate much with her though.

4) How much do you like the fandom that this character comes from?
Hmmm, I'm not really sure what I think of Avatar as a fandom as whole. TBH, most of it I've found extremely irritating, wanky and childish, though there are some awesome corners with great writers as well. And it gave birth to the awesomness of racebending so that's a plus too.

5) Do you ship this character with any other character? Or, are you particularly intrigued by his/her relationship with any other character(s)? (romance-wise or platonic)
Azula/Zuko is kind of my main ship for Avatar so yes :) I find the relationship between the two siblings caught upon an abusive family situation fascinating; they are driven against one another and Azula is extremely cruel to Zuko many times, but at the same time I believe she does have a soft spot for him in a way, she seems to have genuinely tried to help him early in S3 in her own way at least a little.
I'm also interested in her relationship with Mai & Ty Lee. Especially Ty Lee for the femslash side ;) And of course her relationship with both parents is interesting to explore.

6) Is there anything about the character you would change?
I have mixed feeling about the descent into craziness at the end. On one hand it works in term of tragedy, and follows logically from some of Azula's characterisation; on the other hand it makes her into yet another crazy woman because she couldn't stand power. I dunno. Perhaps there would be some way to fix that ambivalence that would be satisfying to me.
I'd also would have liked the series to show us what happens to her on screen, instead of telling us in interviews, and to give us at least a glimmer of hope for her recovery.

7) If you were in the fandom with this character or knew this character in real life, how would you see yourself interacting with him/her?
Run. Run very fast and very far away.

8) Does this character make the cut as one of your all time favorites (if you like) or least favorites?
Yes!

9) Would you hype up this character (if you like) or warn about this character (if you dislike) to someone new to fandom?
She's definitly one of the character who make Avatar great, so yeah I could.

10) Is this character popular with the fanbase?
I think so, yeah :)

I'd imagine loving her from a student's perspective as well. Such an awesome combination of business, knowledge, and wittiness. I think it'd be cool if she were more a part of the plot, too.
