Hmm, not thinking much of the overall plot; though the individual stories weren't so bad. I think i'd have enjoyed it more if I'd read each one separately rather than interwoven (actually, the same is probably true of War of Kings, but at least there was more of a main plot there necessitating it). Of course it doesn't help that I loath Lovecraftian villains. Boring. Or perhaps it's fatigue. Anyway, Guardians of the Galaxy continues being the bestest. The Nova story was pretty lacklustre though. The Inhuman stories were really not convincing me. The Imperial Guard stuff was just rather dull except for the few instances of good banter here and there.
Also is it me or doesn't those stories have a whole lot of dying & resurrecting even by Marvel standards? I mean, I prefer it to having the characters stay dead but it's... sort of blasé-making.
And now that there's just Thanos Imperative left, and as far as I know no more cosmic stuff after it, I wonder what'll happen to all those dangling plot threads. Can they all be resolved there? We'll see.
Thanos Imperative
So, no, that did not resolve all those dangling plot threads
but it was pretty cool, despite the boredom of Lovecraftian evils.
