Date: 10 October 2011 07:17 pm (UTC)I'll take Fakir/Ahiru
1. I think I started in earnest during the s1 finale. They had such cute banter in that! :D
2. That depends at which point in time... early on Fakir being an asshole & Ahiru being in love with Mytho... later on, Ahiru being a duck. :/
3. err, everything? I think what I like the most about the pairing is how it's never text text. I mean, it's obviously there for everyone to see, but it never becomes stated and it's never what drives the plot.
4. Can I say the same as above?
5. Fakir was really an asshole early on. I'm not sure if it works as well without that though, so I dunno.
6. Rue/Ahiru ♥ and Fakir/Rue. Poor Mytho! XD
7. There are no happy endings, because nothing ends.

Date: 3 October 2011 08:30 pm (UTC)1. When or if I started shipping them: I don't think I ever started
2. What I think their challenge is: IIRC Samuel is pretty douchy. So, that.
3. What makes me happy about them: Mercy is a very decent character for a Paranormal Romance lead.
4. What makes me sad about them: It's still pretty formulaic crap?
5. What moment I wish had never happened: I dunno, memory's not precise enough for me to say.
6. Who I'd be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: Again my memory isn't precise enough for me to say.
7. My happily ever after for them: *shrugs*

Date: 3 October 2011 08:41 pm (UTC)1. When or if I started shipping them: Hmm, good question. I loved Ekaterin pretty right away. Does that mean I ship her with Miles? I think I only started to buy the pairing when Ekaterin started liking Miles as such, in A Civil Campaign, wayyyy after the dinner of doom and Miles' appology; when they're hanging around dealing with a crisis and Ekaterin look at him. I remember the moment, but not the context specifically enough to do better than that, sorry.
2. What I think their challenge is: Miles being Miles.
3. What makes me happy about them: They're two characters with a complicated, painful past, with a lot of strength, who are looking up to the future together - I like that dynamic, and that respect for one another.
4. What makes me sad about them: That Ekaterin is still mostly present as the wife, story wise.
5. What moment I wish had never happened: I'm not sure. There's probably one, but I don't remember.
6. Who I'd be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: Hmm good question. I don't have any big Miles ship (lol, except Galeni :p); and Ekaterin even less. I'd be curious what Dono or Dona/Ekaterin would be like though.
7. My happily ever after for them: I'm fine with the books version XD

Date: 3 October 2011 09:06 pm (UTC)LOL, very true! (Come to think of it, Miles could pretty easily be a poster boy for "the common factor in all your failed relationships is you" :P)
Ekaterin/Don(o/na) would be interesting! They are two very types of Vor ladies, but they've both had to deal with abuse from men in their lives. I really wonder what they would make of each other...
