well Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness was disappointing
I wasn't happy that they made Wanda into such a villain; but I also found the movie overall very dull and joyless. America Chavez feels like a bare outline of a character who's mostly a McGuffin despite the plot revolving around her; and the story makes too much of Steven and Christine's relationship in a way that's incredibly trite and boring. The alternate universes we explore also feel token and too quickly set up. There's some cool visuals and Wanda works well as a horror villain and that's it for the big qualities of the movie.
