Lazy day, I woke up at 4 pm. Played up to 6 am yesterday night at Changeling. Was fun. I do love Changeling the Dreaming despite this game's many flaws. And Aurelien is an excellent GM for it. I've got a nice cheerful, passionate, headstrong, fearless Unseelie Sidhe. Tomorrow I'm gonna play Dragon Blooded again. I hope i'll have the time to make a cake before leaving, for Vincent's birthday.

Bernard Pivot's questionnaire meme, gawked from [livejournal.com profile] rahael and [livejournal.com profile] scrollgirl. Now I hate Bernard Pivot, he's an arrogant snob who would have never even looked at a science fiction book (I shudder to think what he would think of Buffy) but I always found that questionnaire neat on the Actor Studio.

Bernard Pivot's Questionnaire

1) What is your favorite word?

I have a fondness for "Grace" those days. Lovely ambiguous word and i love ambiguity. I also love "nonetheless" and "nevertheless". They're beautiful english words.

2) What is your least favorite word?

Race.

3) What turns you on creatively, spiritually or emotionally?

Freedom, possibilities, beauty, enthousiasm... all things that are synonymous to "joy" for me.

4) What turns you off?

Hypocrisis. People who talk of you behind your back and are all sweet smiles in your front. People who lies to themselves about themselves.
Self-righteousness. People who just can't accept that you can be different than them and still be right and good and well.

5) What is your favorite curse word?

In french the one i most use is "Putain", which is not a pretty word. In english I like "Bugger" and i say "Damned" a lot.

6) What sound or noise do you love?

Music, of course. The sound of wind in the leaves always makes me happy whenever

7) What sound or noise do you hate?

I just can't stand grincing. Like the sound of metal on a plate. It always gets me a physicial reaction and makes me want to scream.

I can't stand to hear someone crying. It gets to me everytime.

8) What profession other than your own would you like to attempt?

Ethologue. Studying animals' behaviour.

9) What profession would you not like to do?

Anything that would require me to lie and being dishonnest as part of the job.

10) If Heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates?

Everything. He/she would better tell me /everything/ starting from the very beginning.

Which Type of Uke Is Best Suited to You!?
brought to you by Quizilla

*chuckles* Really ? Well, maybe I'm not a uke, seeing how i'm a girl, but darling I'm a masochist. Just because I think being that means you can very much be in power and strong doesn't make me any less so. Check previous entry and read Sakura and Snow again ;)
Otherwise, yay, I go Tsuzuki ! *cuddles her Tsuzuki*

Amen. *is talking from very recent experience*

You know, I never thought of "nevertheless" as being a beautiful word. When English is your native language, you just take certain words for granted. But now that you mention it, it is really pretty. I've been sitting here repeating it over and over. It's interesting how seeing something common from someone else's perspective puts a whole new spin on it.

Someone mentioned the word "eloquent" last week which I like, and it somehow sounds like what it is.

Aye. Was too.

:) Yeah, it's one of the things I love when you learn another language, the point when you get a feel of the pure sensuality and musicality of the words, when you can taste them... It's hard looking at your own language that way, poetry is one of the only medium that really does that.
