Yesterday was a looooooooong day.
School started at 9, with an International Buisness class. Wasn't as bad as I feared, and definitly looks interesting. At worse, this is a wholly new topic for me, so I'm interested for novelty's sake.
After that, I had a Mathematics class. See, I haven't done any Math since High school, that was 5 years ago, and that felt plain weird. Thankfully so far nothing too difficult but i'm very rusty and it's gonna take some time before I get reaquainted with my reflexes. Let's hope math is like bicycle ^^
Lunch break - I have lots of holes in my schedule which I can spend on the internet because at last that's a university where I can use computers - yay for paying american schools ^^ - but wouldn't dare reading the most naughty fanfics out there. Also, as far as writing goes, those computers have a big problem : they use the Americann qwerty keyboard (in french we use a slighty different azerty one) but have still the buttons ranged according the french way. Makes typing very akward when I'm wondering where the hell that punctuation sign might be hiding ! so If you get comments from me with lots of typos, you'll know why !
English Compostion class, has got, alas, too many students in, and doesn't look as cool as I hoped. Luckily I've got a friend from last year there.
Last class of the day was Accounting, with my father... Not as bad as I was expecting, but still weirdish. Accounting doesn't look difficult but is plainly boring, obviously, no surprise here.
Then I went with friends to watch, at last, Chronicles of Riddick. Fun genre movie. I have a few nitpicks, but overall, cool. Very nifty visuals and the actions scenes were very nicely filmed, trying out for original effects. Some very cute fashion statement from villainous girl made it fun too ^_^ oh, and Vin Diesel's raspy voice is perfect for the role. Maybe, he could do a good Sandor. *ponders*
Needless to say I was very dead when I got back home.
I have no classes on Tuesday and Thursday. Wednesday is the same class as Monday, except for International Buisness. Friday was Macroeconomics (subject looks painful but the teacher is great) and International Relations (I'm not sure how I feel about that class yes)
Lots of homeworks all around :/
This evening I also got the first japanese course thing, since I finally convinced my parents to pay for three monthes. They don't look sure about paying for more... it /is/ expensive. We'll see.
