Poor Kamui. Actually I don't really like them either ^_^ But I don't dislike them. I just prefer other characters, Hisoka and Kamui makes me confused with their mood swings and crankiness.

It's a catholic reference to Mary-Magdalene. There were like a score of Mary around Jesus (but I don't know who the others are apart from the Virgin Mary and Magdalene). In the bible she's a whore who redempted after meeting Jesus and became one of his main follower. They are some apocryphal texts who seem to imply she was the wife/lover of Jesus. I'm pretty certain that Clamp had her in mind when they made the character of Karen ^^

Absolutly ! There's three tomes published : A Game of Throne, a Clash of Kings, a Storm of Swords and it's simply the best fantasy around. After reading it, you will think that Clamp is being rather mild and gentle to their characters ^^

Dorne is not a who, it´s a where, a region in the fantasy world where the A Song of Ice and Fire books are set. It´s the southernmost bit and as such it is also the most mediterranean like bit, but with bits of all sorts of other cultures.
