I've got my Licence !

At last, I went to check my results and there they were. I finally passed the five classes I lacked from yesterday.

That gives me a Licence degree in Anthropology (Licence are 3rd year degrees, they are roughly equivalent to Bachelors) with an average grad of 14.2 / 20

English, Fundamental texts 2, Regionnal Models, Ethnoscience and Field Practice are the ones I passed in early september.
And that settles 5 years spent at the FAC learning anthropology. I don't know if it's something I'll do again. (I'd hate not to ever, I loved it) but I can't stand the methods of learning of french public universities right now.
So yeah I'm very happy about those grads. ^_^ But i feel strangely numb, too. I think I tend to melancholy too easily >_> I hate when things are over.

It's strange to be waiting so expectantly for something to have "then what ?" reaction after while... However, I am really glad that this, at last, is over. I definitly wouldn't have been happy if I didn't have it ^^

Congratulations, it is weird to have years reduced to paper, but it is also nice to put closure on bits of our life, and get a paper or something that says we did it and are supposedly now improved.

I am a bit pissed off, because my grade certificate which I had to show today was ruined by a lady in some secretariat that all innocently decided to destapled it to photocopy it and took off the official school sealing wax over the staples. But hey, I can get another copy of that certificate, just whining and moaning, the stuff which is important is not the paper. And yay for AE :)

Oh yes ! You exactly pinned the reason of my weirdness. That and hearing it's a "closure" makes me feel like it's something i will never get back to - an idea I don't like.

Ewww, that woman sounds so very rude ! What kind of idea is that, spoiling someone's else diplomas ? Those papers are valuable, damnit ! *grrr, is angry for your stead*
