The lie started one time when I was traveling home by bus. I was held over in San Jose waiting for my transfer (and there were fliers all over the place about missing girls). I got cornered in the bathroom by a creepy woman who went from calling me really pretty to wanting to know everything about me to implying that she was strong and could take me down. Among the things she wanted to know was what my name was and that's where the Anna Cervantes thing started. I've even started concocting a whole life history for her since I've been asked for my name by creeps many times. I figure it's better to appease the scary people by giving them fake information that try and piss them off by running away. So yeah, that's the long answer, but you were curious. :P
