salineaI am back from vacations. They were GOOD. Have seen an awful lot of churches, a couple of forrest, had many walks in old town centers and visited one Bishop castle. Have snatched Wildcards, which is yours Teresa ! I'll send you back when I'm finished with it. Bavaria and Austria in autumn is beautiful, lots of red and orange trees *_*. Tours was also just an adorable city, and spending more time with Maya was extremely cool as well (got to watch Gravitation which was very fun with her, and also a old romantic Russian movie about the important of going to bath before New Year's Eve), she's just adorable. The ASOIAF meeting was awesome, seeing again people from Prague and before, though it was way too short (just the week end in Munich with everyone else than Fabian). I've got a new boyfriend. And now I'm back home after 8 hours of train, am very tired and trying to catch back of mails and journal posts that happened meanwhile @_@

Oh, and since LiveJournal doesn't seem to accept my credit card for payment, my Paid account has expired during my absence ;_; I really need to try to find a way to whine somewhere and make it work....

Well, awful is a strong word, but I do miss my icon collection /._.\ i'm definitly going to look for alternate solution.
By the way, I know you don't like people commenting on your essay-ish entries, but looking back on those you made lately, I as always found them to be very insightful and nuanced, so I keep hoping you don't stop making them. You made lots of good points about Seishirou and beautiful things. (I think Seishirou even idealizes Subaru's purity) Anyway, just wanted to say how much i like 'em, hope you don't mind. #^_^#

Oh thanks. ^.^ I wanted to do something in particaulr but it'll take a lot of work but I just don't have the energy to go through with it right now. And the idlealizes Subaru's purity thing... *laughs* that fits with the thing I didn't want to mention because I thought I'd be shot. It sort of relates to that.

Date: 24 October 2004 02:11 pm (UTC)Wild Cards is not as good as GRRM solo, but that first volume is IMo the best of the WC series, hope you enjoy it, but no need to hurry with it, or return it at once, feel free to pass it to somebody else if you know anybody who would like to read it!

It's definitely not. So far the best novella is indeed the one by GRRM himself, and it does make it somewhat worth reading the whole thing, I think.
LOL I will if I can think of someone. The whole exchanging books across countries is fun, i should get into your book crossing thing ^^
