1. How long have you been in fandom?
I hit the internet in 1996. I think it took me one or two years before I found my way to fr.rec.art.sf, where we mostly discussed sci-fi books.

I first entered a specific fandom when I read A Song of Ice and Fire (first fandom, yay!) in the dying hours of 1999

I first entered a fanfic based fandom when I got myself addicted to Buffy the Vampire Slayer during its sixth season (2001-2002)

2. How did you discover fandom/what was your route into it?
I loved books. I wanted to discuss them. Searching for websites about my favourite books was a natural move. I think I snobbed fanfics for a long time before I finally got interested in them. Can't remember what made me change my mind.

3. Do you actively participate in any forums you may wish to pimp? Any you joined then but would not set foot in now?
Well, I don't really participate to any forum anymore right now, but these where the ones I used to be busy in :

4. How did you discover LJ, and what made you get one?
Friends from the BtVS crowd eventually convinced me it was a cool place to go to. Which I have to agree with


5. How did you come up with your username?
My first nickname on the internet was Della, which was basically the name of a Mary Sue, which, given the fact I wasn't writing fanfics at the time, was no mean feat. When I got into ASOIAF I wanted a new nickname and settled on Stranger, which in those books are :
1/ the name of the God of death, outcasts and weird people
2/ the name of Sandor Clegane's horse
Which I found amusing.

I switched to the French version Etrangere when I went to the ATPoBtVS forum because people were criticizing my syntax so I wanted to make clear English wasn't my first language.

I'm fond of the nickname still.

7. Have your opinions changed towards any characters/ships in your time in fandom?
None in a very big way. I did lose interest in some characters. (Like Spike) But usually that's in parallel with my decrease of interest with the fandom.

8. Do you write/draw within fandom? What made you start?
I write sometimes, and I'm not sure at all what made me start. Reading, I guess. Makes you want to make up for own stories *shrugs*

9. Does what you write/draw differ from what you would read? How so? What are your biggest kinks/squicks?
I don't always read stories as dark/angsty as what I write (then again sometimes they're darker than I do, either ^^).
In the HP fandom my Muse is very much Black family shaped even though I read mostly Snupin. I don't know why.
I also really like stories with plot while being totally unable to write them. Likewise with witty humour, and good fluff.

Major Kinks are mindfuck and manipulation, death fics, D/s stuff, hatesex and all kinds of hate/love relationships, Angst (of the non silly, whiny variety), bittersweet fluff, banter/snarky humour, masturbation fics are swell. I think that covers it.

10. Of what piece of your work are you most proud, and why?
Beautiful Things (TB/X SeishirouxSubaru) because I think it's thematically pretty tight.

If at first you don't succeed (TB, AU SeishirouxSubaru) because someone told me it made them cry :D

Not that i'm very proud of anything I've done >_>;
