Been a bit busy lately, and, well, when I wasn't I was a bit depressed. Sorry for my lack of commenting, i need to catch up with lots of thing (not least of them [livejournal.com profile] schemingreader's Snarry...)

Last week-end, the one before I meant, I went to see Cyrano de Bergerac at the Comédie Française. Now in case you don't know, that's one of my favourite play, and it was gorgeously played. And it was free for Bastille Day.
After that there were Fireworks enjoying which was fun with a background of Mozart. My friend was happy because they played Deus Irae XD

This week end, I went to cut my hair. Well, I don't have any webcam anyway so you're not likely to see the difference.

I also went to see Tsotsi which was rather good.

I'll do a book post later when I finish reading Ian McDonald River of Gods (which is currently blowing me away)

I'm now 2,300 words into the NarcissaxPercy (which still doesn't have a title though), in parts thanks to [livejournal.com profile] crazylittleme
Though I wish inspiration didn't strike between midnight and 1 am when I need to sleep because i have work on the morrow.

Speaking of [livejournal.com profile] crazlittleme, thanks to her I downloaded a small dozens of different version of Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah which is, well, one of my favourite song ever, and the one that I can always apply to whatever is my OTP of the moment, from SeishirouxSubaru to SnapexLupin going through GeraldxDamien (I'm not sure how much it says about me, my OTPs, or my conception of love)

In the meanwhile : I wrote a drabble :

Blood is thicker
BellatrixxAndromeda
200 words
warnings for blood-ness and Bellatrix-ness

Hey, thanks for that link, I love that song too. *starts downloading all the versions to see which she likes best* I am usually completely musically idiotic... I don't listen to that much music, and when I do hear something it is usally in korean or japanese or chinese and being sung by my sister. lol

*Cheers on Narcissa/Percy* Yay

I have been completely lax on commenting on people's entries lately too. I am sure everyone goes through that. It's good to hear from you, though. ^_^

I don't know anything about music either, but I love it anyway !
I know of those I especially liked the Alisson Crowe version and the one by Aroof something ?

lol about your sister. Does she sing very well ?

My computer suddenly decided it didn't like downloading music anymore. *sigh* heh, but I want to listen to the whole list. I think I may just need to restart.

And my sister... she is one of the best singers I have ever heard... and I am not just saying that because I love her, hee. But she sings constantly. Which gets old. It drives my mother crazy. I miss it sometimes since I don't live with her anymore, but I have her mediablog, and I can still listen to her sing... so that's all right. hee

Cyrano de Bergerac is absolute love. ^^
I have read the book and seen it as a movie. A stage presentation would be interesting. there are a lot of things I would like to see how they would pull off.

So, who did you give your braided hair to? Or was it less dramatic? :p

the language is a beauty ♥

the movie really wasn't bad, despite Depardieu. I was very glad to see a stage representation ^^

I gave my hair to the trash, as a symbolic proof of my love XD

Ah yes. We date like we dress, do we not, my sweet?

Not into the fandom at all (in fact I don't even know the characters - Only about 1½ book into Potter), but that is one well made drabble.
You have a way with words that makes me quite jealous.

you mean, short, comfortable and not too expensive ? I guess, yes.

Thank you ! I'm glad you found it enjoyable even though you're not in that fandom.

Say, was there ever, beyond Exalted, a fandom you would like to read fics for ?

I was thinking 'trashy'. But maybe that is just me. ^^

I read tons of stuff. Those with expressive characters whom I do not have to read 40.000 pages beforehand to understand are the best.

A few of the more prominent themes would be.
Kung fu novellas and shortstories, both by Chinese and by properly talented gwailo. These are usually entertaining and surprisingly juicy.

Eroticism. Don't tell me you are surprised, every girl gotta sin once in a while. For fun and profit. ^^

Classics and related. Lost track of the number of variations and tiny added stories of the Illiad and Odysse I have read.

But no real fixed fandoms.
