Owwww. I hatehatehate it when that happens. The most memorable example being Red Wedding spoilers on Amazon when I was still reading ASOS (but somehow, I managed to avoid HBP spoilers. Go figure.). Which book was it?

The book's Kushiel's Justice, which is not teh book I'm most looking forward to, but the spoiler is fairly big and will probably spoil my enjoyment x_x

Red Wedding is a big ass spoiler that totally spoils stuff, all my sympathy ;_;

Ooooh, *that* spoiler! I saw it on B&N website and I totally agree that it will probably spoil my enjoyment too. That was a really silly and inconsiderate reviwer that put it up! But, I'll see soon, I guess, because my copy of Kushiel's Justice should be here today or tomorrow. :-)

It was a big spoiler in a fanfic, so I'm not sure if it's the same.

My local bookstores are all useless about telling me when something comes. I think I should get to Amazon as well, but I hate ordering stuff online (it's such a pleasure to browse shelves).

Browsing bookstores is teh love. Now all I need is a nice big bookstore in which to browse.... And I wonder how does it come for bookstores in freaking Paris to be referred to as useless. :-)

Yeah, I know it's quite a luxury to have access to English bookstores in the first place ^^ but the people who work there are (albeit nice) useless to give information. The ordering of book can be random and way late compared to when the book's out. I went to two bookstores asking when they should have Kushiel's Justice in order to reserve a copy and neither knew.
