ETA: And because I've just seen someone talking about it in a Harry Potter comparison frame :

The Stark is a Hufflepuff house. Badass 'puff but 'puff all the same. I don't think anything says Hufflepuff more than "When the snows fall and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies, but the pack survives." Hufflepuff is all about "but the pack survives".
Now, of course, Arya is a Slytherdor (same kind of Harry, of course). Probably more Gryffindor than Slytherin though. I guess Brandon and Lyanna were the same.

The Tullys are 'puff too. Family, duty, honour. Spells 'puff to me. Emphasis on community and what must be done.

The Lannisters are Slytherins, duh.

I'm not sure for the rest of the houses except that most Martells we see are Gryffindors.

Pah, it's telling me I'm a Stark! Perhaps they have a seer with a crystal orb that divined my screenname? :-p It's strange, because in HP tests, I consistently come out as Ravenclaw, and none of the Starks are what I'd call bookish. In fact, if I had to put myself anywhere, I'd probably be Leyton Hightower, studying magic high above Oldtown.
