I think part of it is that mine is a morning person and I am not. So he schedules more time to get ready in a leisurely manner whereas I have the most efficient system possible for getting out the door with as little time awake required beforehand as possible. So even when it is a Saturday evening his getting ready rhythm is just slower than mine.

see, I'm not a morning person either, but the additionnal time I schedule to get ready is usually spent in front of my computer with a good cup of tea, not in the bathroom.
