a year of fanfic in review

Finally doing the fanfic year in review meme because I'm finally not depressed anymore about having written so little this year.
First lines of fic, 2007
January
First fic: Sins (Bellatrix/Andromeda)
First line: She was waiting for Andromeda in the bedroom, quiet and dark, sitting on the bed. The shadows were kind enough to hide the worst of the years and the worst of Azkaban. It was been eighteen years since last she had seen her.
February
None written
March
First fic: End of Time (Remus/Snape)
First line: "Let’s go to the sea," Lupin says.
April
First fic: Paper Cuts (Percy/Draco)
First line: On the third day after the official end of the war, Lord Voldemort visits the Ministry.
May
Nothing. Unless the three personnal canon facts meme count, in which case :
First fic: Three facts about Severus Snape
First line: The Half Blood Prince was the nickname his grandmother used for him when he was very young. He got a perverted pleasure out of using it for himself, showing how good he was at magic despite his Half Blood.
June
No fics. Still only the three facts meme.
First fic: Three facts about Kozue
First line: She was never good at piano and she never meant herself to be - but... but sometime when she passes in front of that music store, she looks at the violins and imagine herself playing the cello, wood firmly held between her tights, rasping the archer against the ropes in a wild, struggling, sensual tone so different from the orderly music of piano.
July
No fix. But, LOL, still the personnal canon meme.
First fic: Two facts about Seishirou Sakurazuka because I got lazy and never wrote the third
First line: Seishirou starts smoking to annoy his mother. Everything is always neat, perfect, graceful at the Sakurazuka's home. Fragile, almost, as if breathing would shatter it.
August
First fic: Ganymede (Akio/Touga)
First line: "May I kidnap you for a moment?"
September
First fic: Lies (Sandor/Sansa)
First line: Learning how to lie for five years, Sansa got good at it. How to smile, how to blush, how to shadow her eyes with lashes just so, so nobody would think to question the lie.
October
Nope
November
First fic: The lady in the tower (Cersei)
First line: Nobody ever sees her. She lives walled up in the tower and a blind servant brings her meals every day, without saying any word. The mercy of the queen, they say, to even let her live (but was it really?). It makes people curious, of course.
December
First fic: Aconite (McNair/Remus)
First line: The room stinks so much Remus cannot even smell his own stench. The rust makes odd patterns on the concrete walls, and the lone light bulb hangs from the curved cellar like a strangled man. Remus finds it very fitting.
Waah. That doesn't look so empty now that I've cheated and filled the gaps with those memes XD
Now the fanfic year in review.
Favourite story this year: Rotten love, I think. It was loads of fun to write.
My best story this year: Propably Paper Cuts.
Most underappreciated by the universe, in my opinion: Hmmm. Perhaps Lies, also that's my own fault for not posting them to any communities or stuff.
Most fun story: I didn't do much funny this year. The lady in the tower because Cersei as a mad, old woman is hilarious. (I find horror funny. Shut up.)
Sexiest story: If you don't mind non con Paper Cuts (it was written for
hp_springsmut after all). Other wise Rotten love.
"Holy crap, that's wrong, even for you" story: You've got your choice between the non con fic (Paper Cuts), the obsessive love fic (Rotten love), the incestuous fic (Sins), the almost-unconcious Bondage dub con fic (Aconite), and the work hierarchy-related obsession (Excellence). Everything I write with sex is pretty wrong, but I don't think any of them had the palm of sickness.
Story that shifted my own perceptions of the characters: Ganymede helped me understand Touga much better than I did before.
Hardest story to do: Rotten love took me ages to do before it started.
Biggest disappointment: The fics I never finished.
Biggest surprise: The lady in the tower was definitly one of those unplanned-Muse-wants-you-to-write-this-NOW fic.
Most telling story: End of time and Aconite both have a lot of me. Make what you will of that.
A story I want remembered: End of time because it was the most hopeful of them.
