I don't get it either. But some people like fluff and will fluff anything. Whatever. Ofcourse I like darkfic and will wring it out of kid's books and shows, so who am I to talk?

IMO, fluffly fic out of dark sources tends to suck more than the opposite. I don't know, maybe I'm a cynic but I can buy that, actually, the Smurfs are narcs a lot more easily than Seishirou is a Good Guy inside.
