Ten fictional characters I'd have dinner with (emphasis on "dinner"=/="sex", lol)

1. Iroh, Avatar
Because if you want to have dinner with someone, someone who enjoys good food, good drink, good music, knows how to laugh and has good conversation is probably one of the best thing you can get

2. Yuuko, XXX-holic
Like Iroh she likes good food and good drink too :) and she knows how to party. As far as conversations she'd also be excellent, bringing in all sorts of weird anecdotes. And she'd force Watanuki to make the food, and apparently he's pretty good at it.

3. Gerald Tarrant, Coldfire
All about the conversation, the guy knows stuff, I dig that. And he's got a decent sense of humour. And I could mock him. Always wanted to mock Tarrant.

4. Ammar, Lions of Al Rassan
I dig poetry. And the guy is amusing.

5. Byerly, Vorkosigan series
I love the guy's sense of humour, mainly, and he definitly knows how to have fun too.

6. Miles, Vorkosigan series
Because having seen what his dinner party end up like, I wouldn't want to be absent and miss to the show, ne?

7. Shigure, Fruits Basket
Because he's my fictional boyfriend and very amusing all around

8. Narcissa, HP
Because she'd be the perfect hostess and look gorgeous and chilling

9. Inara, Firefly
Because she's very, very good at it, professionally

10. Anthy, SKU
Because of the curry of DOOM, and, you know, the fact I adore her and she's fascinating and I'd love an occasion to get to know her

I'd make a list but mind has suspicious overlap with the "wouldn't kick them out of bed list" I made.

I almost put House there, almost. I didn't because 1/ I wanted the list to be gender balanced, 2/ Much as I love sarcasm, I'm not sure I would entirely be able to bear it if he really wanted to be asshole :)


There's definitly an overlap... that's because dinner + bed is a good combo!

Dude, I'd kill to have dinner with Ammar! He'd laugh at me a lot, and mock me a whole bunch too, but he's Ibn Khairan, how can you resist?

Iroh would probably be the most wonderful person to have dinner with, seriously. I'd drag him to all my favourite restaurans of Paris and would have an awesome time.
