Name a character that you know I write or have written, and I'll tell you:

a. What initially prompted me to like the character enough to write about him/her.
b. One of his/her best traits.
c. One of his/her worst traits.
d. How easy/difficult I find it to write the character.
e. The story/thread/chapter/post/paragraph/tag/phrase where I feel that I truly captured the character. [I may not be able to find it and exactly reproduce it, but I'll try to remember which story at least...]
f. My plans (if any) to write the character in the near future.

a. I have a thing for overly formal, brillant and anal nerds with a crush on authority & regulation. I have absolutly no idea where that comes from (maybe it's because it's one of my opposite personnality wise?) but any time any where there's this type of character in a fandom, I find them utterly sexy.
b. Stubbornness, a trait which has both good and bad side, but no doubt that Percy's got an impressive drive.
c. That infamous Weasley temper.
d. When I wrote him, I actually found it more easy than I expected. Still, not a voice that's usually very prominent in my brain.
e. I'm rather proud of Papercut as a whole
f. No plan. I had to bow out of the percy ficathon last year, and I had an old Percy/Narcissa fic in progress which got deleted in my computer troubles, so all in all I think I'd be a bit too bitter to take up a story about Percy right now.

a. The clincher to me was The Beach, before that she was a very good villain, but she was too cold, had too little weaknesses. When she started wanting to win the volley ball match that bloody much, and being an utter dork about boys, she started being more real to me.
b. She's a perfectionnist. She will push herself to the extreme limit to do what she wants.
c. Because of her need to be in control of things, she tends to push others too much only in order to make sure she's in control of them. Which, ultimately, is what cost her their loyalty.
d. Relatively easy, I like writing psycho women ^^
e. Wanting a perfect brother even if it would have been against her interest, in Psychee's Contemplation.
f. No real plan for Avatar fic right now, unless I start working seriously at the Maskverse, but I'm sure that'll change when we'll get new canon.

a. Sansa has been one of my favourite character from ASOIAF from early one. In AGOT, because I was angry at GRRM for being unfair to her, presenting Arya as more easily likeable when there were obviously nothing wrong about Sansa. Then in ACOK I fell utterly in love with her dynamic with Sandor.
b. Her sense of compassion. Few character are that kind and empathetic even when she's in a situation that really doesn't warrant it.
c. She's a snob :)
d. Not very easy. Which ASOIAF isn't generally speaking.
e. The drabble Lies
f. I've no current plan.

a. That's interesting, I felt like Arya was overly glorified, but was also annoyed with Sansa early on. It was only as truly terrible things happened to her that I started to find her interesting.

d. ASOIAF is a tricky canon to deal with.

c. She's a snob :)

Not really. She wouldn't even talk to that dog keeper's grandson if that was true, much less "remember" kissing him.

I think Sansa respect actual social ascension, dog keeper's grandson or not, he's a Landed Knight's son too. Noblesse d'épée is noblesse d'épée. But would she have talked to a dogkeeper?

Of course she did! To find out how to care for Lady! :P But, yeah, your point stands.

She's a popular one, Azula is :)

a. I found Zuko's story compelling before I actually liked Zuko. I think he started really growing on me circa Tale of Ba Sing Se, his dorkiness finally winning me over. Although it was a slow and progressive process which started earlier.
b. He's a really softie sometimes. I kinda adore it when he goes about the new era of peace, and kindness. It's all kinds of hilarious.
c. The occasionnal spitefulness, when he's so angry he turns against the people who help him (like Iroh, or Song) simply because he resents the affront to his pride that accepting their help represents.
d. Not very easy. It's a character I'd like to explore though, so I need to think more about him. I think I get him well, but it's getting his voice right which will be difficult.
e. Anger was ever his smokescreen, to hide within its confounding curls and twirls. from Psychee's Contemplation
f. I have the Maskedverse project, which is an Aang-less AU centering around Zuko and Toph which I think of as Zorror meets House of the Flying Dagger. Trouble is it needs to be epic and I'm a notoriously lazy writer.

Ginny Weasley.

a. What's interesting about Ginny is that she's got pretty flawed characterization. he evolves from books to books with hard strokes, and we never see her enough to properly understand her. She's this shy kid, no she's this spunky capable kid, no, she's a bitch with anger management problem. I find that pretty interesting to make sense of. In fandom, she's interesting to explore in femslash (I feel she's the most femslashy character of that canon for some reason) and for Tom/Ginny which never stops being intriguing.
b. Stubborn. Like the other Weasley, Ginny just doesn't give up. And she's loud about it.
c. Temper. Ginny's actally probably the one Weasley with the worst temper issue (as seen in HBP), with good reasons. She's also got some serious lack of confidence.
d. I've written her too little to say.
e. I only ever wrote one story in which she featured, and I don't think it grasped her character well.
f. Well, one of my Black family saga fic was supposed to be about her, but that series is very much on stand by, so no plan.
