I've been feeling a bit weird about LJ lately. I keep wanting to write entries about things, composing them in my head, and then I never do.

Also I feel way too guilty about the number of memes I have yet to answer >_>;;

I really need to get out of this "hiding" mood.

Heh, I know how that feels. I feel more comfortable micro-blogging on twitter than I do here. But I miss the interaction with my flist so that's why I still try to blog. =D

Maybe try doing a mini-goal of blogging once every 3 days? Even if it's just a few lines. And then down two every 2 days and such. *shrug* As long as you're doing well otherwise, it's all good. ^_^

Yeah, you've been pretty spare yourself this last year or more, I've been missing you.

I do manage posting regularly, but mostly silly memes and the like. Nothing about myself or the things I do/watch/read, you know?

I don't even know what twitter is! Should I look it out?

Twitter is cool cause you only have 120 characters to use in each post and you can do it anywhere. So I just write anything that crosses my mind and respond to my friends on there. =D Here's me: http://twitter.com/dianamoon

But yeah I've been sparse and I don't like to be cause I love talking to my friends and all. Hopefully I won't be as much from now on. =D Meme's are cool though, I love memes and quizzes. XD

I know exactly how you feel. That's why I don't have updated my lj for a months. -_-

I hope you are feeling better soon. :) (Have a funny Azula icon to cheer you up. ^^)

Been wondering where you disappeared to! Last time I heard you were in Copenhagen for work and no news since then :-(

I've been deliberately cutting back on my LJ entries recently (with mixed success). I suppose I've been using it as a bit of a crutch during recent times of trouble, and as those problems recede I'll try and update it once or twice a week rather than five or six times.

I doubt I'll go back to the old days of posting once every four months though :-)

It is a bit addictive, isn't it?

I kinda envy your ability to talk about your problem there, in a way. I'm not sure if that makes any sense.

Nah, I get it. I suppose I was lucky in that I met a lot of people on LJ before I signed on, so it was always easier to talk about personal problems because a lot of these people were people I'd already met and considered friends. And in a weird way, my much-more-frequent LJing has been beneficial as I ended up talking more to a lot more people than I would have done otherwise, your good self included :-)

I definitely need to use filters a bit more though. The LJ and blogging have started to bleed into one another, with some established authors putting me on their friends list. I'm pretty sure GRRM and Kate Elliott don't want to hear about my latest bad mood brought about by the Irish weather :-D

Talking good, although I'm one of these weird people who find it easier to talk to people I haven't met than I do to people who actually know me.

hah, I thought I really sucked as a friend to comment on people's personnal entries. But I'm glad to have been talking more to you about a variety of stuff lately :)

Friending established authors must be exciting! I agree that filtering is useful.

All good stuff. I thought it was funny that the sum total of what I said to you in person in Oxford was, "Hi!" and since then we've had many more interesting conversations about BSG and stuff online. And on a related note, sorry you couldn't make Galway, especially because of the dentist. Eek. We'll have a drink or five for you!

I hope there'll be another meeting in an available place soon :)

Do drink, I love it when people get a hangover on my account XD

I think we're looking at one in London in June or July :-)
