There was a comment thread that I thought was in your journal, but I can't find it now about how Avatar has done a good job explaining things that don't make sense originally, e.g., earthbenders and metal. So my question is, why does a comet give Sozin (and other firebenders?) power when comets are made of ice and dirt?
