Watchmen trailer here.

It could still suck, but it sure does look pretty.

Bah, not working :-(

I'm glad they're keeping the ending. One of the best moments in any story I've ever read. "I did it twenty minutes ago."

Oooooh. I'm still worried about the chances of them compressing the plot down to two hours without it going all pear-shaped, but at least now we know it'll be pleasant on the eyes. And Rorschach's line sounded amazingly creepy, which is a good sign.

Plus, this is one comic book movie where I can be sure my money's not going to Frank Miller.

I'm both very excited and very wary of that movie. It's a funny feeling.

Have now managed to look...

Mixed feelings here. Visually a lot of it looks pretty faithful to the book, but I'm not so sure about the tone of certain scenes. Rorschach's voice was kind of cheesy, you're going to hear a lot of comparisons between film-Nite Owl and film-Batman, and was that the Comedian punching a hole in a wall, FFS?

Who am I kidding. I'll watch it. :p But I am not sure I'm going to like it...

Dr Manhattan and Nite Owl are quite convincing indeed, but I am still disappointed in Rorschach's mask.

I hope it will be more faithfull than V for Vendetta and that Ozymandias will not be treated in a simplistic manner.

I don't mind Rorscharch's mask - Ozymandias the only one I don't find convincing and even there I want to see what they do with it before I judge.

I hope so, definitly!

It does look nice, but I won't hold my breath. Most superhero movies seem to be all flash and no trousers these days.
