Questions by [livejournal.com profile] redcandle17

1. If you had to live in one country other than France, which one would it be?
I've pondered this, and the answer's New Zealand :) It's an anglo-saxon countrie, so I can speak the language, it's no freaking cold like Canada, it doesn't ban abortion like Ireland, and it's relatively liberal unlike the US and Australia - earliest countrie to give women's right to vote, I believe - and, err, I forget why I had eliminated the UK. Probably on account of bad weather/crackful culture.

Anyway, New Zealand looks like a pretty place, landscape wise, too

2. What was your favorite subject in school?
French. Comes with the love for reading and argumenting. I also liked History a fair deal (wasn't very good at it, though) and Biology.

3. What year did you first read ASoIaF?
I think I started reading it in the summer of 2000. Read aSoS in late 2000 - early 2001, I'm sure.

4. What's your favorite alcoholic drink?
Depends for what. During a dinner, wine, unless it's crepes, then cider. Cider's also my choice for pre-dinner drinking. After dinner it's whiskey :)

5. If you could rid the world of one species, which would you choose for extinction?
Some kind insect species whose removal won't have a big impact on the ecosystem, I guess.

Yeah. It looks almost otherworldly in the movies.

I admit it took me a moment to realize that French class for you wasn't your foreign language class, it was your reading & writing class. :P

Ahahahaha. New Zealand? That is absolutely the right answer to that question! I speak as someone with no bias whatsoever...of course. Best country in the entire world. *cough*

And you're right, it was the earliest country to give women the vote.

Fingers crossed, under the new Rudd government, Australia will become less conservative. I really hope so.
