Date: 2 January 2009 12:43 am (UTC)Paris in general is a popular touristic destination for a reason. December is pretty cold and dark, but there illuminations and spectacles for christmas of course if that's what you like. The big bummer I would see is all the people out in the streets shopping for christmas which could be problematic if you don't like crowds (I hate 'em).
And yay for maybe visit!

Thanks! :D Nah, I don't like crowds but I doubt the summer is crowdless. XP

Date: 2 January 2009 09:47 am (UTC)Well summer is relatively less crowded yes, especially August because even if there's a lot of tourists, a lot of the Parisians have left for their own vacations, and there are still more Parisians than tourists!! probably the monuments are crowded of course, but the streets are much emptier (and there are a few animations in summer which make it fun).
