My short list of favourite characters: Sansa, Arya, Dany, Jaime and Sandor. So, yeah.

I don't have an opinion on Garlan, actually, but I remember from Sansa's chapter that he's supposed to be a good dancer, and an all around nice guy: so good choice to dance :)
