salineaBSG final spoilers ahead:
I loved the flashbacks. Most of them, even the Adama bits were slightly less painful than Adama bits are usually, and the ones with Roslin, Lee, Kara, Baltar and Caprica (Baltar's dad! That was awesome that we got to see Baltar's dad srsly) were really good. Then when they reflashed to them to make sure we got the point, that was annoying.
I thought everything else was crap. I'd elaborate, but... well it was frequently heavy handed, clichéed, silly, plotholy and downright insulting. (just scatter out on Earth and start again, Lee? No, really? Oh, fuck me). Baltar spechifying in the middle of the battle almost solving the situation (except then not because of the most random hanging plot thread ever LOL) was just histerically funny. As was the resolution of the Opera house thing. And boy, was it heavy handed with the faith and the break the cycle *bangs head against wall*
Even Baltar and Caprica remembering that each other exist, hooking up and realising they both see Head!Versions of each other - something I'd been waiting for for a long time - was done in a wince inducing way.
I was actually annoyed that Roslin survived on Earth for so long. Generally speaking, I think they didn't kill enough main characters (they never did, show has no balls and we knew it since they let Adama survive the S1 final). Just the extras getting shot down a lot, usually in a funnily stupid way (Oh, Boomer :()
The last 15 minutes could easily have been cut, really, it went on and on, and by the end (especially at the end) I was literally groaning.
Fuck, even the space battles weren't even good.
Of course most of the actors were brilliant and the music was gorgeous. Which, you know, is the main reason I still watched BSG XD
Oh, and Lee's hair was really funny at some point. Poor Lee XDDDD
