Yeah, she might work. Too bad she's a bit too old for that.

Funny enough, she was the main character in Cameron's Dark Angel (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0204993/); his own story of a superpowered young lady in a post-apocalyptic future, who's taken in by an older gent to be her guardian/mentor. ;)

Don't you think Kate Beckinsale from "Underworld" looked a bit like Alita/Gally? Not that I'd want Kate playing her, mind you. She's gorgeous but can't act for shit. XO
