Finally finished watching Farscape. It's funny, i'd started a re-watch/watch completion... two years ago? Something like this, for the express purpose of finally catching the ending (and the few episodes here and there I'd missed along the lines) and ye had stalled in the middle of S4 - right before the last episodes I had initially seen - for two years. I don't regret finally finshing it, it was pretty epic. And very farscape-esque. (I'm still very much in love with Aeryn Sun ♥)

Wrote a bit about Cable/Deadpool for marvel_fr. Feels weird being involved in a fandom in French.

Sleeping pattern in utter disarray once more. I hate this shit.

I want to renovate/update my user info data, but I'm not quite sure about what to put there / how to present. Anyone has suggestion about good user info write up?

... that would be a literal translation yes. Then again, in continuity, it's a reference to a betting pool about who dies first, I dunno how I'd even try to translate that.
Then again, as that issue with Nightrunner highlighted, you don't usually translate superhero names :p

(If you like space opera shows with a very RPG-like ensemble dynamic, an atmosphere of craziness and wackiness that can nevertheless be dark and epic when it comes to the on going plot and a lot of Weird Shit of the Week episodic storytelling in between, a very biological and grit & grim texture to the setting, cool characters - yes.)

Funnily enough I am about to start on a Farscape sort-of rewatch soon. (I saw many of the episodes when it was on TV years ago, but haven't watched it on DVD.) Aeryn Sun... well, let's say I can see the attraction. ;)

I meant to ask about your Suicide Squad post a while ago - was that the late '80s Ostrander run? I love that to bits. Awesome writing.

Yes, that's the 80's Ostrander run! It is indeed excellently written despite being old, badly scanned and suffering from way too many crossovers.

I don't have to worry about bad scans. Got a complete original run, including crossovers and the Deadshot 4-part limited series. :) One of my favourites: it's a crime it didn't get more recognition at the time. Flag's death, the ground crew and supporting characters, Oracle (love her confrontation with Batman), Boomerbutt (I love how he was the joke character... but he was also actually quite dangerous), and that closing scene. Oh, and a 'guest appearance' by Grant Morrison. Did you spot that? ;)

I do vaguely intend to rewatch Farscape sometime. I have seen the ending of it, but there are quite a few episodes I missed since I only started watching it on TV about the second half of season 2 (although I did see most of the first season later, except for the first few episodes).
